The Profiles module controls user access to your Innovation Central environment, and provides a variety of information about your users’ access and participation. As with most Innovation Central modules, access is restricted to those specifically provided with an Admin assignment within the Profiles module.
Individual profiles include basic required information (the user’s name, email address, password, and unique user ID), and can also contain up to ten identifiers of your choosing. For details about selecting and using identifiers, see the Category Configuration section of User Details Configuration.
If your company has Portals designated for specific user groups, or has both internal and external users, this information can also be included in Profiles.
