When viewing an Idea, select Copy / Move Idea from the Actions menu. Complete the form and then click Submit. The copied/moved Idea in the new event includes a stamp indicating where it originated. If you do not see the Copy / Move Idea option, then it may be disabled for your site. Contact Support (imaginatiksupport@planbox.freshdesk.com) to enable this feature.
