Basic Search within an IdC Module
To search for Ideas within a specific IdC module (event), type a search term or phrase in the Search field at the top of all pages:
Search across IdCs
To search for Ideas across multiple or all IdC modules, first follow the instructions for a basic search, and then on the Search Results page:
- Select "Search in all events"; or
- Select "Search in specific events", and then select the check boxes next to the event names.
- Click Search.
Search Warehouse
Searching within IdC modules only returns results for Ideas that have been moved to the Warehouse module for users who have Admin access to the Warehouse. If you do not find a specific Idea in an IdC module, then first ensure you have access to the Warehouse and if you do, then conduct a separate search directly in the Warehouse module.
Tip: To search by idea reference number, enclose the number inside quotation marks (e.g., "RBD16X").
Note: If you use a direct link to an Idea in an IdC module after the Idea has been moved to the Warehouse, Innovation Central automatically redirects you to the new location in the Warehouse.
