Create Conclusion Recommendations |
Once the final decision for the ideas has been made, you’ll want to conclude the ideas. A conclusion is a final disposition of the idea that remains a recorded part of the idea for future reference, and also sends an email to the idea generator to close the loop and communicate the outcomes associated with the idea.
The most common conclusions include:
- Accepted as a Top Concept
- Forward for Consideration
- Thank you for your Contribution
Only Master Reviewers (as designated in Special Roles) can conclude ideas. While you can give everyone on the review team this role, as a process, there is generally one person on the team who actually completes the conclusion work.
You’ll also want to enable the conclusion communication to be sent. This will ensure a communication goes to the authors and commentators to close the loop on the idea.
At this point, all ideas moving forward should be handed over to the implementation resources provided by the sponsor. The implementation team is then responsible for moving ideas through the execution process.
