Making Analytics available in the Collaborate Space for “The Crowd”
Analytics is simple to enable. Go to the Collaborate Space Menu configuration and enable Innovation Analytics as a button or link. Presenting Analytics on the Collaborate Space gives access to all of the Analytics tools to everyone who also has access to the Collaborate Space of your Challenge.
Making Analytics available in the Review Space for the Review Team
When you want to restrict access to Innovation Analytics, enable it only for those with Review related and Administrator roles on the Review Tab. To do this, go to the Review Menu and enable Innovation Analytics as a button or link. Presenting Analytics on the Review Space gives access to all of the Analytics tools to everyone who also has access to the Review Space of your Challenge.
Working in Analytics
Each of the Analytics has a settings button which presents all of the settings options available within the specific analytic tool. For Example, the Content Radar & Trends settings (shown to the left) present an opportunity to customize the key words in each of the radar graphs. This is also where you’ll find the export and save options.
The lower case “i” icon gives a brief description of each tool. This may be particularly helpful to point out when introducing Analytics to a team for the first time.
Back to All Analytics links back to the main Analytics menu screen (shown below), so that another tool may be selected.
Analytics for Multiple Challenges
Anyone with access to the Global Dashboard can also apply Analytics to any combination of present and past challenges. There is no need to go to the Global Dashboard, simply click the Innovation Analytics menu button within the challenge as normal, and now you’ll see the ability to choose from “Just this event or a selection of events”.
You’ll then be presented with a list of all challenges within your environment, simply select the ones for your analysis. You’ll also be able to select or unselect “all”.
This added capability to mine thousands of ideas from hundreds to thousands of people gives a much more accurate and complete view of your company’s people, knowledge, and blind spots.
