Innovation Central Profiles supports Login with user ID and password, where Single Sign On (SSO) is not feasible, or not desired (such as Open Innovation applications). Self-Registration is also supported, and these settings are associated with using these features.
Lanugages
Languages gives you the option to select a specific language to appear in the login and self registration screens. The default language is English. For help with other languages, please contact Support.
Login Help
For Login Help, consider the best approach for your individual users. With every challenge, there will always be a few people who need additional help, get locked out or have questions. Make these messages clear, with appropriate contact information and instruction.
Registration Configuration
There will likely be times where different individuals will be creating Profiles. In these circumstances, it can be helpful to let everyone know how User IDs are being created. For example, in the instructions below there is guidance around using personnel IDs or a portion of the email address.
Email Domains Allowed can be helpful for some open innovation use cases. For example, if your challenge is open to the world, it would not be practical or desirable to limit the allowed email domains. However, if you are focused on a small group of known suppliers, it may be helpful to limit the email domains to just the few, known companies with which you're working. When using the External Access Module, domains can be limited both internally and externally. Limiting email domains is only used with self-registration.
