Adding Ideas
Add Ideas using the same Idea form you have set up in the desktop version of Innovation Central.
Attachments
The Mobile app supports document, graphic and video file attachments to Ideas. Innovation Central can accept the following video file types as attachments*: MP4, AVI, MOV, and M4V. File size of a video is a function of the duration, resolution (size) and compression (quality) of the video. Playback may be impacted by compatibility with video players and codecs. It is recommended that you fully test the compatibility using all devices (mobiles, tablets, PCs) in use in your organization for recording, compressing, uploading and playing videos, prior to launching an event.
We can raise the file size limit from 5 MB up to 200MB; however, this requires testing and approval by our Infrastructure Team. Considerations may include compatibility, data usage and bandwidth. We recommend using internal servers or public video sharing sites (YouTube, Vimeo, etc.) if they expect multiple/large video files.

Using Collaboration Tools
As with the desktop version of Innovation Central, users can add Comments to Ideas, send a link to an Idea, submit a 5-Star Vote, identify favorites, and follow/unfollow Ideas.
Comments
Tap the Comment button in an unconcluded Idea to submit a comment. Comments are shown in chronological order, with the most recently submitted comment first. The following Collaboration Tools are available via the More button in the bottom navigation bar when an Idea is displayed.
Send a Link
Select Send a Link to send an Idea hyperlink to another user.
5-Star Vote
Select Vote to display the 5 star rating scale, and then tap the number that corresponds to your vote, with 5 being the highest.
Organizing Ideas
Users can organize their Ideas in the Mobile application using Favorites and Follow This Idea. These options are available by tapping the More button when an Idea is displayed.
Favorite
Select Favorite, and then tap the heart icon to select or de-select the current Idea as one of your favorites. Note that you cannot manage your Favorites in the same manner as you do in the Innovation Central desktop application. The Mobile application only allows you to select or de-select an Idea as a Favorite on an individual basis. You can view your Favorites in Filters, accessed at the bottom of the Browse Ideas page. By returning to the desktop version of Innovation Central, you can then manage your Favorites as usual.
Follow
Select Follow, and then tap the bell icon to select or de-select the current Idea as an Idea for which you want to receive email updates when comments are submitted. You can also choose to follow your own Ideas by selecting the check box on the Idea form before you submit the Idea.
Head-to-Head Review
For users identified as Reviewers, the Head-to-Head Review function is included in the Mobile application. This is limited to submitting reviews; Head-to-Head results are not available in the Mobile application.
To access Head-to-Head, tap the Review button in the Challenge’s bottom navigation bar. Use two fingers to spread or pinch the screen to change the display size, as with any mobile application.
